The deep secreted forests of the Jeseniky Mountains in Moravia conceals more than their share of mystery. Myths and legends are woven into their unsettled history. In the middle ages these hills were witness to the trials of witches and the scenes of inquisition.

Today the enigma continues as unlikely and inexplicable events take place with alarming regularity, just like the one depicted in this film.



All of a sudden the fog rolled in. The entire valley was veiled in darkness. They we lost and panic set in! They began to move quickly. Then began to runÉ.to run as fast as they could away from those cursed hills. They stopped short as they noticed a light shining through the darkness. At last! Humanity! They were saved.

As they approached the light, the outline of a cottage sharpened and formed and their confidence grew that they would weather out the night in safety. As they approached the cottage the door suddenly opened and they were greeted by a young man who said, "Come in, we've been waiting on you".

As the boys entered the home and began to relax with wine in hands and sitting by the inviting fire, their mysterious hosts recounted how Witches and Shamans still lived in the forest and how they enticed unsuspecting hikers and performed secret rituals on them.
